Systemic Support

Systemic Support

 Addressing complex health challenges

When symptoms linger—fatigue, brain fog, sleep disruption, inflammation—the goal is often regulation and restoration, not pushing harder. Whether you’re recovering from Long COVID, navigating chronic fatigue, or dealing with sleep that never feels restorative, acupuncture can help your nervous system settle and your body find its way back to steadier ground. You don’t need to have a particular diagnosis or a dramatic story—if something isn’t resolving, that’s enough. We take a paced approach that respects limited energy and adjusts care based on how you respond. Serving Dover, NH, the Seacoast, and Southern Maine.

Patterns of Systemic Imbalance

Recovery looks different for everyone. We commonly see these patterns, but you don’t need a specific diagnosis to benefit from care.

What We Commonly Support

Long COVID & Post-Viral Recovery

Persistent fatigue, brain fog, and unrefreshing rest following illness.

Fatigue & Energy Restoration

Exhaustion that doesn’t improve with rest or “crashing” after activity.

Sleep & Insomnia

Racing mind, nighttime waking, or difficulty falling asleep due to stress.

Autoimmune & Inflammatory Support Managing flares, joint pain, and the stress-inflammation cycle.

Our Approach to Recovery & Restoration

Recovery from systemic conditions requires energy conservation rather than stimulation. We use a paced, low-stimulus approach to help your nervous system shift out of “defense mode” and back into a state of cellular repair.

What to Expect During Your Care

  • Energy-Aware Intake: We discuss your fatigue patterns and “energy window” to ensure treatment never overtaxes your reserves.
  • Low-Stimulus Environment: Calm, quiet, private rooms designed to reduce sensory overwhelm.
  • Paced Technique: Gentle Japanese-style needles or needle-free options (cold laser, microcurrent) adjusted to your current capacity.
  • Collaborative Care: We encourage coordination with your medical providers to ensure a comprehensive recovery strategy.

Systemic Regulatory Care

75 Minutes of Comprehensive Doctoral Treatment

Improving internal rhythm, from digestive ease to restorative sleep cycles.

Systemic health—including digestion, sleep, and hormonal balance—is rooted in the body’s ability to self-regulate. We utilize an unhurried, one-on-one model to facilitate a deep shift in your internal biochemistry. By remaining in the room for the entire 75 minutes, we ensure your body reaches the state of “Rest and Repair” necessary for true systemic recalibration.

Initial/Maintenance (90 min) $200   •   Follow-up (75 min) $160   •

 Additional same-week $75

Internal regulation is a cumulative process. Our same-week momentum rates are designed to help you stabilize your system’s response during acute flare-ups or when your body needs a consistent ‘push’ toward a new baseline of health.

Frequently Asked Questions

We focus on regulating stress physiology and easing the persistent patterns of inflammation that follow illness. Many notice steadier sleep and improved resilience early on.

We specialize in “Paced Care.” If you have limited energy or experience “crashes” (post-exertional malaise), we adapt the treatment intensity to your capacity.

By supporting nervous system regulation and improving sleep quality, the body is better able to rest and restore, which often leads to improved mental clarity.

We often recommend twice weekly sessions initially to build momentum. Once your system begins to stabilize, we adjust the frequency based on your response.

Fluctuation is common with systemic conditions. We don’t use a rigid protocol; we adjust each session based on how you are presenting that day.

Yes. For chronic, systemic conditions, acupuncture works best as part of a broader recovery strategy. We are happy to communicate with your doctors or care team when helpful.

We focus on sustainable progress—steadier sleep, reduced symptom intensity, and better day-to-day function—rather than quick fixes.

Yes. We work very gently, especially if your system is depleted. We adapt every treatment to your current capacity to ensure you don’t feel overtaxed.
